Police in Limassol arrested two 20-year-olds on Friday night, suspects of illegal possession of drugs, after a dramatic chase.
The incident happened around midnight, when police patrol spotted a suspicious car. The officers signalled the driver to stop, but instead he sped away. After he crashed on three parked cars, he stopped and started running by foot. The police chased him and managed to arrest him. The second person remained in the car after the crash and was also arrested.
Inside the car they found 94 grams of cannabis.
Both of them were arrested and remain in custody.
