A 27 year old man was arrested in Limassol late on Thursday afternoon after police discovered 11 kilos of cannabis in his car.
Members of the anti-narcotics squad stopped and searched car driven by the 27 year old in Kolossi at 6.40 pm on Thursday.
They found about 11 kilos of cannabis in the car and another 9 grams and €630 on his person.
He was arrested and a search was carried out at his house where police found eight packets with 232 grams of cannabis..
Police also found that no road tax had been paid for the car he was driving for the past three years nor was there insurance.
