Strovolos municipality announced on Tuesday that one of its parks now includes a swing for children on wheelchairs.
The wheelchair swing – donated by GC School of Careers – has been installed at Acropolis park.
The funds for the purchase of the swing were collected through a number of actions and initiatives of the school’s Volunteers Club.
Strovolos municipality expressed its gratitude to the school for the donation. The addition of the swing to the park is part of the municipality’s organised efforts to upgrade its parks and introduce equipment also for children with mobility issues.
