More snow is expected to fall in the mountains on Thursday, while lower regions should expect rain both during the day and in the evening. Stormy weather is also forecast, mainly for the north and west of the island.
Temperatures will rise to 18C inland and near the coast and 5C in Troodos. The height of snow on Troodos square in the early morning was 50cm.
For Friday and during the weekend the met office predicts sunny weather with only a few clouds.
Temperatures will gradually increase and during the next three days they are expected to be higher than usual for the beginning of February.
