A 38-year-old man was sentenced by the Nicosia district court on Friday to 15 days in jail and had his driver licence suspended for three months after being found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol.
The man was caught driving drunk last June in Nicosia. Tests given to him indicated he had 107microgrammes of alcohol in his breath, almost five times over the alcohol limit.
