Police has closed off a section of the Limassol-Nicosia highway due to a collision on Sunday afternoon.
A police announcement said that, under conditions which are being investigated, a car crashed into the traffic barrier near Kornos exit.
Both lanes from Kofinou exit to Nicosia are now closed off, it said.
Drivers are urged to be careful, to maintain a safe distance from other cars and drive at low speed.
