AEK inched forward to the Greek title after an emphatic win over Athenian rivals Panathinaikos (3-0) at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday.
A Sergio Araujo double and a Rodrigo Galo strike meant that AEK needs four points from the four remaining games to claim its first SuperLeague title in 24 years.
After a government-ordered three-week suspension of the Greek league, PAOK moved to second place after beating Atromitos 2-0 (video)
