Fire fighters have managed to check a fire which broke out in Monagrouli, Limassol, early on Friday afternoon.
Four water dropping aircraft, seven fire trucks and fire fighters from the fire service, the Forestry Department and the Game Service are fighting the blaze which was fanned by strong winds.
A fire service spokesman said the fire was completely under control.
