Temperatures are set to rise in the coming days but some rain and storms are still expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, after which sunny weather is forecast.
On Tuesday, the highest temperatures in Nicosia will be 35C, 28C to 30C along the coast and 24C in the higher mountains.
At night they will fall to 18C inland and in coastal areas and 12C in Troodos.
Though there will be some clouds on Thursday and Friday rain is unlikely and the Met office announced it will be warmer than in the days before.
