Isolated showers may be seen in the southeast of the island on Thursday afternoon and more rain is possible on Sunday, the Met office announced although summer conditions will persist elsewhere.
Some clouds will gather in the afternoon along the coast, but it will be mostly sunny, with temperatures topping 34C inland, 30C to 32C in coastal areas and 26C in the mountains.
Temperatures are forecast to remain the same during the weekend. In the evenings they will drop to around 23C in most areas and 14C in Troodos.
Sunny weather will prevail on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday isolated rain and storms in the mountains and Nicosia area are expected.
