There have been 32 arsons in the north in the past 10 months a report said on Thursday in which 20 vehicles were either seriously damaged or destroyed.
Turkish Cypriot daily Yeni Duzen said 19 arsons attacks took place in 2017 while 13 were recorded so far this year.
Ten cases have been cleared.
The paper said six people were arrested last year and 11 in 2018 in connection with arsons cases.
Most of the attacks took place in Famagusta and Nicosia.
