The mainly fine weather will continue over the next few days with above average temperatures, the met office said in its early morning forecast.
It said that weak low pressure is affecting the area.
Friday will be mainly fine although at intervals there will be increased higher cloud. Temperatures will rise to 34 C inland, around 30 C on the south and east coasts, around 29 on the west and north coasts and around 27 C in the mountains.
Tonight will be mainly fine although at intervals there will be increased higher cloud. Temperatures will fall to 17 C inland and on the west and north coasts, around 19 C on the remaining coasts and around 13 C in the mountains.
The weekend and on Monday will be mainly fine, however at intervals there will be increased mainly medium and high cloud. Temperatures will edge up on Saturday remaining at the same levels on Sunday and Monday which are above average for the time of year.
