Four arrested in connection with robbing man after arranging to meet on social media

Police arrested a woman and three men to facilitate investigations into a case of robbery that took place on Sunday morning in Nicosia.

According to philenews, the 27 year old victim reported to police that he had arranged to meet with a 38 year old woman who he met via social media.

When he went to her flat at 9 am on Sunday, as they had agreed, two men entered the space and robbed him at gunpoint.

He said that they took €2,000 in cash, his mobile phone and two gold rings.

Police arrested two 28 year old men, another 24 year old man and a 38 year old woman after receiving testimony linking them to the crime.

Investigations are continuing.
