A warm air mass is affecting the area, but is expected to recede as of Monday, according to the Met Office.
Today it will be mainly fine, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees C inland, around 31 on the western coast, around 34 on the rest of the coastal areas and 29 in the mountains.
Tonight it will be mainly fine. Temperatures will drop to 21 inland, around 22 on the southern and eastern coast, around 20 on the rest of the coast and 17 in the mountains.
On Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be mainly fine but at lunchtime and early afternoon, increased cloud will be observed, especially in the mountains.
On Wednesday, after a clear start to the day, at noon and early afternoon cloud will appear locally, with the possibility of isolated showers and or a storm, mainly in the mountains.
The temperature on Monday and Tuesday will record a gradual slight drop, close to average temperatures, while of Wednesday no significant change is expected.
