Two tourists are in serious condition at Famagusta Hospital after a traffic collision in Protaras.
The accident occurred at 8.20 pm on Monday night when a car driven by a 24 year old man collided with a moped driven by a 45 year old man and with his 24 year old wife as a passenger. Both were wearing a helmet.
The collision was fierce and the moped spun into the opposite lane, the Cyprus News Agency said.
The couple were taken to hospital.
