Paphos police have arrested a 50 year old taxi driver after an accident in Kato Paphos yesterday.
The Cyprus News Agency said that a 42 year old Russian visitor was hit by the car as she was crossing Melina Mercouri street at 20.40 on Tuesday night.
The woman was taken to the accident and emergency unit of Paphos Hospital with fractures.
Her condition is described serious but out of danger.
