A 30 year old man is under arrest after police found 1.75 kilos of cocaine in his home in the Nicosia district.
Police said they had placed the home under surveillance at around 10 am on Friday. When the suspect exited his house he was informed that they had a search warrant. The suspect however pushed one of the police officers and was arrested for assaulting a police officer and impeding police business.
During a search of the house, police found the cocaine and he was re-arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply.
