20-year-old critical after motorbike crash

A 20-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital following a motorcycle crash in Aradippou on Wednesday evening.

The man lost control of the motorbike at around 10.20pm under conditions which are not yet clear and fell to the ground.

After he was taken to Larnaca general hospital he was diagnosed with a fractured skull, abrasions and burns.

Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia hospital where he is being treated.

Investigations revealed the 20-year-old has no driving licence and was not insured.
