An employee of a shop was arrested on Sunday evening in Nicosia after various items stolen from his workplace were found in his possession.
The manager of the shop searched the employee, a 30-year-old man, at the end of his shift and found he had taken a purse and perfume from the shop.
His home was then searched and the suspect handed over 13 watches, two pairs of glasses and three perfumes which he admitted to have stolen from the shop.
