A 40-year-old man was arrested by Paphos police on Sunday in connection with a case of rape and sexual assault.
A complaint was filed to police on Saturday by a 54-year-old woman, who alleged that the 40-year-old had attacked and raped her.
The woman said that she had met the suspect at a bar in Paphos on Friday night. They left the bar and went to the 40-year-old’s home, where the woman claimed she was attacked, hit, and raped.
