Share this:

A man has reported to police he was forced at knife point to withdraw money from an ATM after he had already given the perpetrator $1,000 at his home.

The 44-year-old man, a permanent resident of Cyprus, told police he was in his Germasoyia apartment when the doorbell rang.

When he opened the door he was confronted with a man holding a knife who had his face covered.

Threatening him with the knife, he demanded money and after the 44-year-old gave him $1,000 he asked for more.

The thief then forced him to drive to an ATM to withdraw another $650 and left him at home before leaving.
