A couple arrested on charges of sexually abusing their 14-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son on the Greek island of Leros will face formal charges on Tuesday.
The man has reportedly admitted to the crimes.
Police were alerted by hospital staff when the girl was transferred suffering from heavy genital bleeding.
According to local media reports, the father and mother had been abusing the two children for several years but nobody from the tightly-knit island community had contacted the authorities.
