A 72 year old woman who was hit by a car in Paphos around 1 pm on Monday has succumbed to her injuries.
The woman was hit by a car as she was trying to cross the main Episkopi – Paphos road and taken by ambulance to Paphos Hospital with critical injuries. She died a few hours later.
The 47 year old driver of the car left the scene of the accident but returned 30 minutes later and was arrested to facilitate police inquiries.
